5 Restrictions for Use.
Some restrictions for the use of the JUSP-JC001 commnunication board are described below. The
communication board should always be used within these specifications.
5.1 Limits for connecting and disconnecting the SJDE-**APA-OY
The connnector on the SJDE-**APA-OY servopack is not specified to be frequently connected and
disconnected to the communication cable. The number of times is restricted to 20 times. It is there-
fore recommended to only use the communication board for startup and maintenance.
5.2. Bending specification for the cable attached to JUSP-JC001
There is no bending specification for the communication cable. Therefore it is possible that the
cable may be damaged due to frequent bending.
5.3 Range of Usage
Due to the restrictions for the connection between JUSP-JC001 and SJDE-**APA-OY the commu-
nication board should only be used in the following cases:
• Machine setup (setting of the gear ratio)
• Maintenance (Checking by using the monitor function)
Please do not run the machine with the JUSP-JC001 connected to the SJDE-**APA-OY servopack.
5.4 Connection restriction
Digital Operator and Personal Computer may not be connected to the JUSP-JC001 at the same
time.
5.5 Other Comments
•Please make a sure connection between the JUSP-JC001 and the SJDE-**APA-OY oth-
erwise contacting problems may occur.
•There is a possibility that the cover for JUSP-JC001 on the SJDE-**APA-OY will be dam-
aged due to frequent bending. So please use this cover with care.
•The connector for the JUSP-JC001 is keyed and can only be inserted in one position, if
the connector is inserted wrong with force the connector pins can break. To prevent wrong
insertion the color of the wire for pin 1 is red.
