3.3 Troubleshooting
* If the unit does not operate after taking the above-mentioned measures, contact the nearest OMRON dealer.
Problem

The power cannot
be switched on.
The batteries are wrongly inserted.
Insert the batteries according given directions.
The power switches
off to soon.
The power switches
off while the unit is
in use.
The pads are not properly attached to the
skin.
The pads are removed from the skin·
The batteries are worn out or empty.
The power turns automatically off after 15
minutes.
The electrode cord is broken.
Reattach the pads securely to the skin. (Otherwise
power will switch off automatically).
Switch off the unit before removing the pads from the
skin.
Replace with new batteries, following given directions.
Replace the electrode cord with a new one.
The pads do not
attach to the skin.
The clear film on the adhesive surface of
the pad has not been removed.
The adhesive surface of the pad is dirty.
The pads are used directly after washing
them.
The adhesive surface of the pads is
damaged.
Remove the film.
Clean the pads,
following given directions

After washing, allow the pads sufficient time for
drying.
Replace the pads with new ones.
The stimulating
effect cannot be felt.
The pads may have been used while
perspiring.
The pads may have been washed too long
and too frequently.
The pads may have been stored under
high humidity, high temperature or in direct
sunshine.
The pads are not in close contact with the
skin.
The pads are attached, but overlapping
each other.
The electrode cord is not connected
properly.
The intensity is at a too low level.
The batteries are worn out or empty.
The adhesive surface of the pads is
damaged.
Leave the pads in a refrigerator overnight.
Reattach the pads to the skin properly.
Reattach the pads to the skin while assuring they do
not overlap.
Connect the electrode cord properly.
Increase the intensity.
Replace the batteries with new ones, following
direction given.
Replace the pads with new ones.
The skin turns red.
The skin feels
irritated.
The treatment has continued too long.
The pads are not in close contact with the
skin.
The adhesive surface of the pads is dirty or
dry.
The adhesive surface of the pads is
damaged.
Limit the treatment time to the programmed 15
minutes.
Reattach the pads to skin properly.
Wash the pads, following given directions.
Replace the pads with new ones.
