Supplying Power to the Slaves

Section 2-3

The following table groups the Slaves according to their power supply require-
ments.

Communications Power
Supply

OMRON’s S82-series Power Supplies are recommended for supplying power
to the Slaves for communications. Select a power supply with a current capac-
ity greater than the total power consumed by all of the Slaves that will be con-
nected.

Note

Be sure to provide a power supply with a current capacity sufficient to handle
the surge current that flows at startup.
