Probe Installation Guide
Wiring (wireless probes)
The Wireless MTG Probe has three wires that are color coded as follows:
RED = Power
WHITE = Signal
BLACK = Common
1.
Bring the probe’s cable to a weatherproof junction box.
2.
Make all wiring connections using the provided SK-4 connector sealing kit. Follow the
instructions within the seal kit for proper installation.
Wireless MTG Probe Connections to Transmitter
1.
Each wireless probe will be paired with a transmitter and mast assembly. The mast
assembly will have the same three-colored wires as the probe. Connect the probe
wiring to the mast wiring and splice in a waterproof junction box using the SK-4 kit.
2.
Install and plug in the batteries for your transmitter in a non-hazardous area.
3.
Connect the transmitter to the top of the mast assembly and press the reset button on
the transmitter.
4.
Secure the mast cover to the top of the mast assembly using the provided hardware.
