The OMNITRONIC
is a light and compact condenser microphone with cardioid
characteristic designed for studio and live applications and is ideally suited for direct pick-up of
woodwind and brass instruments. The microphone is supplied with a stable stable transport box and
a windshield. For operation, the microphone requires 9-52 V phantom power.
Maintenance and service operations are only to be carried out by authorized dealers. Damage,
caused by manual modifications on this device is not subject to warranty. If the microphone is used
for other purposes than originally intended or if it is not correctly connected, the product may suffer
damages and the guarantee becomes void.
Protect the microphone against humidity and heat. The ambient temperature must always be
between -5° C and +45° C.
Clamp the spring clamp at your instrument.
Adjust the microphone to the sound source.
Place the windshield.
Connect the microphone via its connection cable with 3-pin XLR plug to the XLR microphone input
equipped with phantom power of your audio unit (e.g. mixing console). If the audio unit does not
provide any phantom power, connect the microphone to the audio unit via a phantom power
supply unit (e.g. OMNITRONIC LH-051).
For cleaning the microphone only use a dry cloth. Never use chemicals or water.
