The Omnitec Design Water Filtration System is a self priming,
positive displacement pump with up to 9 feet vertical lift. The
unit has a #50 mesh screen on the inlet side with 20 and 5
micron filters downstream of the pump to remove fine
suspended impurities. When properly used, the OWF System
can be used for intermittent or continuous service.
CAUTION - Pump Limitations
DO NOT USE TO PUMP FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS
NEVER OPERATE THE PUMP IN AN EXPLOSIVE
ENVIRONMENT
DO NOT ASSUME FLUID COMPATIBILITY

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Unpacking:
Check unit for damage.
Operation:
Place the Water Filtration System (WFS) close
to the waste water source on a level, dry surface standing up-
right. WFS pump is self priming and the discharge pressure is
factory set at 45 psi.
To start the machine:
1. Connect the suction hose (garden hose thread) from the
waste water source to WFS inlet connection, and from WFS
outlet to drain. Make sure the hose is not kinked or damaged.
2. Connect power cord to 115VAC grounded circuit.
Keep the
cord out of water and do not route it under the unit.
3. Turn unit
ON
and wait for the pump to prime the system.
Check that the water is discharging from the unit.
Note: New filters take longer to fill with water.
4. When the water source is depleted, turn the pump
OFF.
The pump can operate dry without damage, but it is better to
shut it down.
