Operating Instructions 

1. 

Push the ‘Power’ button 

 to turn the unit on and off. 

2. 

Push the ‘Low’ button  

to set the extraction fan to low speed. 

3. 

Push the ‘Mid’ button  

to set the extraction fan to medium speed. 

4. 

Push the ‘High’ button  

to set the extraction fan to high speed. 

5. 

Push the ‘Light’ button

Cleaning and Maintenance 

1. 

It is recommended to operate the appliance prior to cooking. 

2. 

There shall be adequate ventilation of the room when the cooker hood is used at the same time 

as appliances burning gas or other fuels (not applicable to appliances that only discharge the air 

back into the room). 

3. 

It is recommended to leave the appliance in operation for 15 minutes after cooking is terminated 

in order to completely eliminate cooking vapours and odours. 

4. 

If the appliance is not used, please turn off. 

5. 

Don’t have flame under the cooker hood. 

6. 

Do not use if the appliance is damaged, especially the supply cord and the case. 

7. 

If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or 

similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. 

8. 

Do not immerse the appliance in liquid. 

9. 

The exhaust air must not be discharge into a flue which is used for exhausting fumes from 

appliance burning gas or other fuels. 

10. 

Regulations concerning the discharge of air have to be fulfilled. 

Details concerning the method and frequency of cleaning 

In order to prevent fire hazard, it is recommended to clean the filter at a maximum of 2 months by carrying 

out the following: 

1. 

Unplug the appliance before cleaning, then remove the filters from the cooker hood and wash 

them in a solution of water and neutral liquid detergent, leaving to soak. 

2. 

Rinse thoroughly with warm water and leave to dry. 

3. 

The filters may also be washed in the dishwasher. 

4. 

The aluminium panels may alter in colour after several washes. This is cause for neither 

customer complaint nor replacement of panels. 

5. 

Clean the surface of the cooker hood regularly using a cloth moistened with denatured alcohol or 

non-abrasive liquid detergent. (Note that the motor and interior of the appliance cannot be 

cleaned.) 

6. 

Replace filters approximately every 4 months. 

7. 

There is a fire risk if cleaning is not carried out in accordance with these instructions. 

 

 

 

 

Replacing the Lights 

Warning

: Before attempting to replace the lights, ensure that the appliance is switched off and unplugged 

from the wall. 

•  Remove the grease filter. 

•  Press the spring on both sides of the lamp until it falls out (Pic. 1). 

•  Gently pull the connecting wire out and disconnect the terminals (Pic. 2). 

•  Reverse the procedure to connect the new lamp. Make sure to use an identical lamp:

  LED modules – round lamp. 

o

  Max Wattage: 2 x 1.5W 

o

  Voltage Range: 12V DC
