Sequence controls Upward:
1- Insertion of the UPWARD command then, when the contactors are closed, a signal has to arrive to
the ENABLE input: this will enable the starting of the motor.
If you enable the High speed, the motor runs at a speed "high". If you do not enable any speed level
(eg. During the re-leveling at floor), the motor will run at the speed of re-leveling.
2- During normal running, when the elevator reach the command of slowdown, it should be taken off
the signal HIGH SPEED: in this way, the inverter automatically switches to "low" speed.
3- Once on the floor, you have to open the UPWARD command, so the inverter reduce the speed of
the motor till to stop it, dropping the contactor command. As result of this operation, the command
ENABLE will be removed.
Setting the START UPWARD:
Preferably adjust only the parameters visible in the specified range
.
To have a good start, make sure that it is completely managed by the inverter. In this sense a good
way is to adjust the hydraulic valve to the maximum opening
(it is the same operation done, in installa-
tions without inverter, in order to have an instantaneous and rapid departure)
.
For "sweet" and without tearing departures it is necessary that the acceleration phase is not changed, com-
pared to set at the factory. If necessary, you can make a different setting with parameters.

Setting the STOP UPWARD:
The slowdown starts when you remove the command HIGH SPEED, and the UPWARDS command remains
activated; once the elevator get on the floor, you will take off the UP command and the engine is automati-
cally set to zero speed.
To achieve the desired accuracy of the stop, adjust the parameter P1001 (Low Speed) and the distance from
the sensors.

The stopping accuracy could be affected by the load in the cabin or by oil temperature, because there
aren’t appropriate automatic compensation.
Must be found a suitable compromise between various operating configurations of load and temperature.

Power limitation
SIEMENS V20, as option, consent to have a power limitation function, in presence of a signal coming from a
NO pressure device mounted on the valve.
When on the 10-DI3 connector there is a 24V, the inverter use a different set point value for the high
speed. This high speed reduced value is adjustable by P1007 parameter.
In this way, only upward travels wich require an higher power absorption, corresponding to operating condi-
tions with activation of the signal of exceeding pressure threshold, will take less power jointly with a reduced
speed.
