Spot metering

Use spot metering when you want to limit light metering to a particular area of the
composition.  Spot metering is useful when lighting is uneven, or when there is strong
backlight or sidelight.

*Position the subject for spot metering within

the spot frame in the center of the viewfinder.

*Press the SPOT  button.

will be displayed on the LCD panel and the

spot  metering indicator will appear in the

viewfinder  thus  confirming "AE"

NOTE: Spot metering is not possible while in flash

mode.
