Attach the other end of the umbilical cable to the acquisition unit.

8.

Adjust the probe or transducer position as follows:

a)

Loosen the wing screw that holds the spring-loaded arm on the scanner frame
(see Figure 3-4 on page 39).

b)

Slide the spring-loaded arm to the desired position, and tighten the wing
screw.

Equipment connections and probe (or transducer) positions vary depending on the
application. To mount the components, T-nuts might have to be added or correctly
positioned in the frame bar sections slots (see Figure 2-16 on page 35).
