Then follow the instructions given you by the software wizard. Close the light
path selector knob on your microscope, so that no light can fall on the camera.

The next dialog box of the wizard will open.
On the Flatfield correc-
tion images the illumina-
tion of the complete
optical system without a
sample will be shown.
The Flatfield correction image depends on the objective being used. Correspond-
ingly, an individual correction image must be made for every objective. Select all of
the objectives for which you want to acquire correction images. Then click
Next
.

Move to a place where there is neither a sample nor any scratches, and defo-
cus.
5)
Move the objective into the light path that the software wizard requested.
With an automated
microscope, the
required objective will
be automatically moved
into the light path.
