Using the menus

INFO
Displays all the shooting information on the monitor.
ERASE
Erases the selected still picture or movie.

CAMERA tab
SCENE SELECT Selects the shooting mode from
(program auto), (portrait),
(landscape), (night scene) or
(self portrait).
Allows you to shoot as close as 20 cm (0.7 ft.) to
your subject.
Meters light only in the center of the picture plane to
determine exposure.
