Validation Functions
(NC 315, 325, 335)
The best results are achieved after a warm-up
phase of 3 minutes.
Bright ambient light can affect the sensor and
falsify results. The validation functions are al-
ways active.
Controlling the Dimensions
This function is triggered when the width of
the bank note is exceeded by 1/3.
Infrared Test
Faulty bank notes are detected by means of
infrared light.
Magnetic Test
This function detects magnetic ink on the
bank notes.
Metallic Strips
This function controls whether the metallic
strips are present in the bank note.
Since the security features of bank notes
are provided on both sides of the notes,
the process for detecting counterfeit notes is
performed reliably on both sides.
