Note:
After having finished transferring files, use the
Remove hardware
safely
option before disconnecting the cable from the voice recorder.
Playing messages on the PC
The voice recorder uses special ’’S16/24/48/64’ file formats. These formats
can only be played with the
Voice Manager
. Open the
Voice Manager
.
Open the voice recorder files in the left−hand window. If you click on the
[Browse] button, you can navigate as on the desktop. The voice recorder is
listed as a removable medium. Open the removable medium and select the
message required from the file A, B, C or D. Messages are displayed as
REC−000X.SXX. After the message has been selected, play it by clicking on
the red [PLAY] button in the bottom left corner.
Transferring files
To be able to play recorded messages in programs other than the Voice
Manager, the S16/24/48/64 formats can be converted to MP3 or WAV files.
These formats can be played on any media players, and also transferred
and archived on other PCs.
