Getting started
1.
Connect the amplifier to a grounded AC outlet in accordance with the voltage and frequency
ratings specified for your amplifier.
2.
Make sure that the internal speaker is connected to the leftmost speaker jack. Never operate the
amplifier without a speaker connected. Make sure the impedance matching is correct. This amp
is designed for a 4 or 8 ohms load depending on impedance switch setting.
3.
Make sure the “Standby” switch is OFF
4.
Set the “Power” switch to position ON.
5.
Wait for at least 60 seconds to allow the filaments to heat up.
6.
Make sure that the volume controls are set to 1.
7.
Switch the “Standby” switch to ON.
The amplifier is now ready for use.
Connect your instrument to the INPUT jack.
Rear panel
A.
ELECTRIC LINE CORD, MAIN FUSE – Connect to a grounded A/C outlet in accordance with
the voltage and frequency ratings specified for your amplifier. The main fuse is an integrated part
of the power jack. Replace only with T1A (1A slow blow) fuse.
B.
INTERNAL SPEAKER JACK 1,2– Plug-in connectors for the internal speaker. A speaker must
always be connected to this jack when the amplifier is turned ON. A speaker impedance load of 4
or 8
Ω
(depending on impedance switch setting) should be used to avoid damage to the amplifier.
C.
OUTPUT IMPEDANCE SWITCH – With this switch you can select the output impedance to
match the connected speaker(s) impedance.
36W 1x12” –select 8ohm for the internal speaker
18 W 1x12” select 4ohm for the internal speakers
D.
FOOTSWITCH JACK – Connect the footswitch to this jack and make sure that Channel 2 or MIX
is selected at the front panel switch. When Channel 2 at the front panel is selected the footswitch
will change between Channel 1 and 2. When Channel MIX is selected at the front panel the
footswitch will change between Channel 1 and MIX.
VACUUM TUBES
Replace tubes only with the same type and ratings as specified.
Be sure to use matched power tubes (EL84). You don’t need to adjust any BIAS when
replacing power tubes. To get the optimal tubes for your amp we recommend you
