4.3 Installation Pocedure
ATTENTION
Always wear required personal protection equipment.
1. Inspect the workplace environment
□
Inspect workplace environment for:
-
compliance to technical specifications.

providing at least 10 cm free space in the back of the instrument for efficient
ventilation
-
providing the minimum space needed to access the instrument
-
providing minimum distance to the power and CO
2
supply
2. Unpack the instrument
□
Unpack the instrument, if necessary with assistance of a colleague.
□
Inspect instrument and accessories for shipping damage or missing parts.
□
Use packing list to verify contents. If any items are missing, contact Customer
Service.
□
Keep the original box and packing material in case the equipment has to be returned
to your OLS representative.
3. Install mains power cable
□
Connect the Mains Power Cable to the Mains Power Connector on the rear of the
CERO.
□
Connect the Mains Power Cable to the electrical outlet.
NOTE
We recommend connecting the CERO to an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS)
to protect your cultures from potentially harmful uncontrolled power shutdowns.
