PREFACE

This manual for Service engineers supplies all the technical information required for installing, testing and carrying 
out maintenance interventions on the multifunction for bank front office 

MB-2

 printer.

This manual can help you resolve a printer malfunctioning problem, when the solutions proposed in the Operating 
Manual provided in the printer kit are not successful.

SUMMARY

The manual is subdivided into 7 chapters and an Appendix:

Chapter 1 Introduction 

- provides information of a general nature on the printer.

Chapter 2 Installation

 - describes the procedures and standards to follow for installing the printer.

Chapter 3 Operating the Printer 

- examines the operating procedures to follow to operate the printer correctly.

Chapter 4 Programming and Calibration

 - describes the procedures for programming the printer and 

calibrating it.

Chapter 5 Diagnostics

 -all the defects that can be detected by the printer's diagnostics system are listed here.

Chapter 6 Maintenance

 - an illustrated procedure describes the cleaning, lubrication and mechanical adjustments 

that may be necessary for the printer.

Chapter 7 Disassembling and Reassembling Parts 

- describes the procedures for disassembling and 

reassembling again the main components of the printer.

Appendix

 - provides information regarding obtaining spare parts, and the software installed on the printer. An 

illustrated procedure also describes how to update the printer firmware.

The approach to the topics covered in this manual requires knowledge of similar products.
