Using this function you can receive messages confiden-
tially. In other words, the TAD receives messages without
playing them over the speaker so that any other persons
present cannot hear your messages.

BREVIATED
MESSAGES
The abbreviated messages are "standard" messages and are al-
ways present in the TADs memory. There are 5 of these messages,
and they are in English only:
N. Message in English Meaning
1 You have nn messages Indicates the number of messages
received by the TAD (nn = from 1 to 49).
2 Monday, Tuesday, etc. Indicates the day on which the
message was received.
3 0/12 AM or Pm
Indicates the time at which the
message was received (from 0 to
12 plus the abbreviation AM or PM).
4 End of messages
Indicates that the machine has finished
playing back the messages received.
5 You have no messages Indicates that there are no messages
present.
