If your FWP has abnormal condition, please check the following table. If the problem still remains, please
ask service center for help.
Common problems

Cannot charge
Please check if the charger is properly connected to the
phone
Cannot power on
Please check if the battery level is too low;
Please check if the battery is properly installed;
Please hold the Power key for enough time.
RUIM cannot be detected
Please check if the R-UIM card is properly installed;
Please check if your R-UIM card is valid.
The FWP displays “Input PIN
Code”
Please contact the service provider to get the PIN/PUK
code and use it to unlock.
Unable to make call
Please check if the phone number is valid.
Please check if you are in service area.
Bad talk quality
Please check if the phone signal is strong enough;
If you are staying in office or home, please move the
phone or move near the window.
The contact cannot get your voice
Please check if your mic has being blocked
Receiver sound is too low
Please check if your receiver volume has been adjusted to
the minimum.
The Phone has a weak receive
signal or frequently drop during the
call
Please check if the phone has a strong signal.
If no signal, please use it in a strong signal place.
The screen display the information
such as “No Service” or:
Searching…”
Please check if you are in a weak signal area (in the
channel or surrounded by buildings), change the area and
retry.
Please check if you can try to get the services without the
service provider permission. If needing the service, please
contact the service provider for more information.
13. Safety Information
Never use an unapproved battery since this could damage the phone and/or battery and could
cause the battery to explode.
Never place your phone in a microwave oven as it will cause the battery to explode.
Do not dispose of your battery by fire or with hazardous or flammable materials.
Do not use the phone in areas where its use is prohibited. (For example: aircraft, gasoline stations,
hospital)
Do not expose the battery charger or adapter to direct sunlight or use it in places with high humidity,
such as bathroom.
Do not use harsh chemicals (such as alcohol, benzene, thinners, etc.) or detergents to clean your
phone.
Do not drop, strike, or shake your phone severely. It may harm the internal circuit boards of the
phone.
Do not use your phone in high explosive areas as the phone may generate sparks.
Do not damage the power cord by bending, twisting, pulling, or heating. Do not use the plug if it is
loose as it may cause a fire or electric shock.
Do not handle the phone with wet hands while charging. It may cause an electric shock or seriously
damage your phone.
