5.4
Install the cable between the main control box and the
battery box
Context
Before the official use, the battery box has DC cables and communication cables need to be
connected to the main control box.
⚫
Do not connect the negative plug (black) of the 1# battery pack until the battery
box is connected to the inverter.
Procedure
Step 1
Installing the Com cable (Can cable)
⚫
The communication cable is pre-installed in the battery box to find the cable to be
connected to the RJ45 connector.
⚫
Insert one RJ45 side of the cable into BMS port in the control box.
⚫
Make sure you select the correct specification cables for installation.
⚫
Otherwise the power will make the cable hot or burnt; it could result in death or
serious injury

Connect one side of the battery connect wire to the

Connect the positive side of the battery connect wire to the positive side of the
battery.
⚫
the negative side of the battery connect wire to the negative side of the battery.
⚫
Make sure the positive and negative side of battery are connected.
⚫
Ensure that the exposed core wire is totally inserted into the cable hole.
⚫
Ensure that the signal cables are connected securely.
⚫
Ensure that the cable is not twisted.
⚫
If a connector needs to connect to only one signal cable, block the unused cable hole
on the seal using a cap and tighten the cable gland.
⚫
If a connector needs to connect to two signal cables, ensure that the cables have the
same outer diameter.
