The following table describes the hazard symbols used on labels on the instrument (
) or in this document.

Hot surface hazard. Do not touch; potential for personal injury.
Rear of instrument
Electricity hazard. Indicates high electricity levels and a threat of
electric shock from machines or equipment in the vicinity. You may
suffer severe injuries or death.
On the instrument

Potential biohazard.

Lifting hazard.
Front of instrument
Power and standby symbol.
Rear of instrument
The Power switch is in the Off position.
Rear of instrument
The Power switch is in the On position.
Inside of instrument;
for service personnel
only.
Protective conductor terminal (main ground). It must be connected to
earth ground before any other electrical connections are made to the
instrument or system.
Rear of instrument
To minimize negative environmental impact from electronic waste
disposal, do not dispose of electronic waste in unsorted municipal
waste.
