6 - INCONVENIENCES AND POSSIbLE REMEDIES
Malfunction
Cause
What do i do?
The appliance doesn’t work.
Current failure
Wait for the current to be restored.
the unit is disconnected from the
current.
Check that the plug is inserted in the
wall socket.
The appliance doesn’t switch on.
too much water has collected inside
the air conditioner.
drain the water off by removing the
plug (28). Call the assistance
Centre if this alarm occurs too often.
timer is on.
Switch off the timer.
The appliance only works for a
small amount of time.
the temperature set is too close to
ambient temperature.
lower the temperature set.
Suction of outside air is obstructed. remove the obstructions.
Call the Service Centre.
The appliance doesn’t cool effi

The air filters are clogged by dust,
fluff or animal hair.
Switch off the appliance and clean
the filters following the instructions.
