The
scale
uses
two
1.5V
AAA
batteries
(supplied).
These
batteries
are
located
internally
and
readily
accessible.
Remove
the
battery
cover
on
the
bottom
of
the
scale
to
remove
the
batteries.
The
batteries
must
be
disposed
of
at
your
local
recycling
point.
Replacing
the
battery
1.
Remove
the
battery
cover.
2.
Insert
the
batteries
into
the
battery
compartment
observing
the
correct
polarity.
3.
Attach
the
battery
cover.
OPERATION
1.
Place
the
scale
on
a
hard
and
very
flat
surface.
Avoid
carpet
or
soft
surface.
2.
After
installing
the
batteries,
the
display
will
show
“888.8”
briefly
then
show
“0.0”.
3.
Select
the
weight
unit
kg
or
lb
using
the
unit
switch
on
the
back
of
the
scale.
4.
Step
on
the
scale
and
stand
still.
You
will
hear
a
beep
and
the
scale
display
will
flash
to
indicate
that
the
reading
is
accepted.
5.
If
there
is
no
operation
for
a
while,
the
scale
will
automatically
switch
off.
Warning
indicators
When
the
display
shows
“C”,
please
step
the
scale
off
then
step
it
on
again
to
measure
weight.
When
the
display
shows
“Lo”,
please
replace
the
battery.
When
the
scale
is
overloaded,
the
display
will
show
“Err”.
Please
step
off
to
avoid
damage.
