8.2.1 Prior to First Use
Wash the doormat before first use in order to remove production-related chemical residues and
straighten the pile. This improves the absorption of dirt and moisture, increases color brilliance
and improves the high-quality appearance of the mat.
8.2.2 Care Instructions
Cleaning:
•
possible at a washing temperature of max. 60°C
•
use non-alkaline, anionic detergents without optical brighteners
•
regular cleaning (at least every 4 weeks) to avoid discoloration*
Drying:
•
possible at 65 to 80°C for approx. 7 minutes
•
after cooling down (approx. 30 to 40°C), dry again for 7 minutes
Storage:
•
do not fold
•
store flat and dry at room temperature
•
when stored as roll, keep rubber side outwards
•
do not bend to avoid waves in the tread edge area
The mat should not be exposed to very high temperatures for long periods of time. Therefore, it is
recommended to remove the mat from the dryer immediately after the drying process has been
completed.
*UV light can lead to color loss and permanent discoloration of the floor mat, which are not covered
by the warranty.
