Digital File to a Mailbox
Use this function to scan a document, save the data in a digital file,
and save it to an electronic mailbox (the “mailbox” is a file server
located on the printer’s hard drive).
Only individuals with the
password to the mailbox can view documents stored in an individual
mailbox (unlike documents that are stored in the hold queue; see
“Digital File to the Hold Queue” on page 64). Note that the screen
shows how much space is available on this internal hard drive.
NOTE:
Use Fiery Command Workstation™ software on your PC to
retrieve files stored in a digital mailbox.
Follow these steps:
1.
Press the
SCAN
button on the Operator’s Panel.
2.
Touch the
Mailbox
tab to display the Mailbox workspace.

On the second-level
Mailbox
tab, enter the name for the
destination mailbox:
To select a name from a list of previously used mailboxes
