In your application program, choose [File]
→
[Print].

From the [Printer] menu

From the [Feature Sets] menu

From the [Colour Mode] menu

, select [Greyscale].

Select [Always Use Printer Halftone] checkbox

This ensures best quality when using greyscale.

Select the [Use optimized greyscale halftones] checkbox

This may slow down printing slightly, but will produce
superior results.
