A dialogue box containing scanning features appears.

Select the scanning method you want to use from the
Scan Method
(1) drop-down menu.

Select the mode you want to use for your scans from the
Image Type
(2) drop-down menu.

Select a scanning resolution from the
Resolution
(3)
drop-down menu.
9.
Select the setting for the scanning features (e.g. Sharpen,
Descreen, etc.) that you want to use (see “enhancing your
image” later in this Chapter).
10.
Click on the
Preview
or
Scan
button to preview or scan
you documents.
