MEDIA
TYPES
The printer can accommodate a variety of special media. Each media type requires special
handling. The most convenient way to set the media is using the Printer Properties in your
computer. You can also set the media via the control panel or using the Embedded Web
Server (EWS).

NVELOPES
Envelopes can be printed from all trays. For details on the envelopes that can be used, refer
to the Reference Guide. The procedure to print on envelopes is as follows.

Take note of the following points when loading an envelope:

Use envelopes specifically made for laser printers.
>
The reverse side of the envelope cannot be printed on.
>
Do not load more than 15 envelopes in Tray 1 or more than 80 envelopes in Trays
2, 3 and 4.

Close the flaps of the envelopes and load them with the address side facing up
and the flap side down as shown below.
NOTE
You can set the print features in the properties dialog box from the printer icon
by selecting Printers and Faxes (or Settings) > Printers depending on the OS).

CAUTION!
The heat from the fuser can melt some adhesives and possibly
damage your printer.
