Printing without Opening a PDF File (PDF Print Direct)

You can send a PDF file to the printer to directly print it. With PDF Print Direct, you can omit opening the PDF file with an application,

such as Adobe Reader.

For Windows Printer Driver (Print By Driver)
For Windows Printer Driver (Print By Printer)
For Mac OS X Printer Driver

For Windows Printer Driver (Print By Driver)

1. 

Right-click a PDF file to print, and then select [Print By Driver] in [PDF Print Direct].

PDF Print Direct Utility starts.

2. 

Select a printer driver in [Select Printer].

Memo

Check that the [OKI B432(*)] icon is in the [Devices and Printers] folder.
To set the user authentication function with the selected printer driver, select [User Auth] from the [Printer Setting] menu.

3. 

To print an encrypted file, select the [Setting password] check box, and then enter the password.

If the same password is to be used again, click [Save password].

4. 

Change other settings if necessary, and then click [OK].

For Windows Printer Driver (Print By Printer)

1. 

Right-click a PDF file to print, and then select [Print By Printer] in [PDF Print Direct].

PDF Print Direct Utility starts.

2. 

Search for printers in [Select Printer], and then select a printer to use from the found printers.

Memo

To set the user authentication function with the selected printer, select [User Auth] from the [Printer Setting] menu.
To set the PIN setting function, select [PIN Setting] from the [Printer Setting] menu.
