Overview
This durable and ultra-lightweight tour guide system provides visitors to museums, galleries and cultural sites with a
superior experience. The system allows the guide to communicate clearly to all visitors - even large groups of over 50
people - without the need to shout.
The transmitter automatically synchronizes all receivers to the same channel, allowing for quick and easy set up when
tour groups arrive. Each can be fitted with a Ni-MH rechargeable AA size battery which offers up to 15 hours of opera-
ton before recharge. After a full day of tours all the units can be recharged overnight (approx 8 hours).
Both the transmitter and receiver units weigh just 70 grams including battery offering the guide excellent freedom of
movement when paired with a headset microphone. Whilst the receivers are no bigger than your average smartphone
and can be connected to standard headphones.
The system provides up to 60 channels in the 520-544MHz band and is fully compliant with the latest ACMA operating
laws in Australia.

Operation
Power on/off
1. Press and hold power button for 1 second to power the device on. LCD screen displays “On” and then the last
used channel.
2. Press and hold power button for 2 seconds to power the device off. LCD shows “Of” and then shuts down.
Channel lock/unlock
1. Channel will automatically be locked and padlock symbol displays if the device is idle for 5 seconds after being
turned on.

buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds until the padlock symbol disappears.
Channel selection

buttons to select preferred channel when channels are unlocked.
Power saving (receiver only)
1. Power to the receivers will be switched off if no signal is received for 20 minutes.
Senitivity adjustment (transmitter only)
1. When channel is locked, press and hold

for 2 seconds to enter sensitivity adjustment. “U” will display on the
screen.

buttons to adjust the sensitivity. Default setting is “U5”. Adjustable between “U1” and “U8”.
3. Press power button to confirm setting.

Channel synchronization
1. Press mute/sync button on the transmitter before it is turned on.
2. Turn the transmitter on and purple LED will flash to indicate the activation of channel sync mode.
3. Turn the receiver(s) on to be channel synchronized (one or multiple receivers can be turned on at the same time).
4. When the channel is successfully syncrhonized, receivers LCD shows same channel as that of the transmitter and
its LED turns steady blue.
5. Press mute/sync button on the transmitter again to turn off channel sync mode.
Note:
• To re-activate channel sync mode. Turn the transmitter off and follow the above steps again.
• After the channel sync mode is switched off, its sound will be muted when the mute/sync button is pressed again.
• If the channel is not successfully synchronized, turn the receiver(s) off and then on again to be re-synchronized.
• Maximum synchronization range is 1m. Receivers outside this range may not be synchronized.
Using C 8813 2 way charging dock
• Ensure transmitters and receivers are fitted with Ni-MH type rechargeable AA batteries.
• Place units in charging dock. Full charge will be reached in 8 hours.
• Once recharged, both transmitter and receiver LED indicators should illuminate steady blue.
• DO NOT ATTEMPT TO RECHARGE OTHER TYPES OF BATTERY SUCH AS ALKALINE.
