BATTERY CHARGING
a.
Before using the vacuum cleaner for the first time, the battery must be entirely charged.
b.
During charging, the appliance is switched off.
The battery charge decreases during use.
When the last LED flashes (for approx. 30÷50 seconds), it means that the
appliance is always completely discharged: proceed with re-charging.
c.
Place the vacuum cleaner next to a power socket.
d.
Connect the charger (12) to the power socket (100-240V~ 50/60Hz).
(Fig.F7)
e.
Insert the male connector (20) in the socket on the charge base (9) or directly in the motor
body (4) socket (5).
(Fig.F7)
f.
Place the complete appliance vertically in the charge base (9). Make sure it is securely
fitted and that the connector (20) is inserted in the appliance body socket (5).
After a few seconds the LEDs (9a) turn on displaying battery charge status.
(Fig.F8)
Make sure the appliance cannot detach and fall.
The LEDs switch on after approx. 4÷5 hours of continuous re-charging; this
means that the appliance is fully charged.
- To release the appliance from the base (9), press the relevant button (P).
(Fig.F9)
Note:
-
The vacuum cleaner can remained connected to the charger permanently without any
risk.
The charger slightly heats up: this is a perfectly normal phenomenon.
-
To charge the vacuum cleaner again after use is advised so that it’s always available, com
-
pletely charged and so that you could benefit optimally from its aspiration performances
and from its autonomy.
-
However, it’s preferable to disconnect it in case of a long absence (holidays...) as an au
-
tonomy decrease caused by self-discharge could occur.
-
If the appliance is not used for more than a month, fully charge it and then disconnect
the power adapter. Repeat the operation at least every 3 months.
-
The appliance does not work if it is placed on the charge base or if the connector is not
connected to the socket (5).
-
When the battery is almost completely empty, proceed to recharge it. Avoid draining the
battery completely.
Do not attempt to disassemble the appliance and / or batteries.
It’s dangerous !
