GENERAL WARNINGS
• Don’t connect the appliance to the power supply through external timers
or remote control systems.
☞
Make sure that the power cord or the steam iron do not protrude
from the bearing plane in order to prevent that someone could,
even inadvertently, pull them toppling the appliance.
☞
Place the appliance on an horizontal and very stable bearing plane.
Make sure that the appliance is safely supported.
Place the appliance far from sinks and taps.
• Eventual repairs must be performed only by specialists which have original
spare parts supplied by the manufacturer.
Repairing the appliance by yourself could be extremely dangerous.
• In compliance with the current regulations, an appliance out of order must
be rendered unusable, by cutting the power cord, before tossing it.
• Do not use the appliance in gas-filled environments.
• Clean the appliance using only water. Do not use trichloroethylene,
solvents or abrasive detergents.
• Do not remove the tank (2) while the appliance is connected to the supply
network.
• Do not move the appliance while it’s working or if the plate (9) is still hot.
• At first use of the appliance some noises due to expansions of its body
could occur; all of the above is normal!
• At first use the appliance could release some smoke and some drops of
water could come out of the plate (9). This phenomenon will be over after
a few seconds.
• Avoid direct contact between the hot plate (9) and the appliance power
cords;
• Prevent that the power cord and the steam pipe (7) come into contact
with the iron hot plate (9).
