INSERTING BATTERIES INTO THE REMOTE CONTROL
1.
Open the cover on the back of the remote control.
2.
Place the batteries in the remote control, respecting the +
and - polarities indicated.
3.
Put the cover back on.
•
The remote control works with two AAA LR03 1.5 V batteries.
•
We recommend using only alkaline batteries.
•
Remove the batteries from the remote control if you are not going to use it for a long time (more than
a month).
•
Used batteries must be disposed of safely. Place them in specially designated collection bins to
protect the environment.
USING THE REMOTE CONTROL
•
Aim the remote control at the infrared sensor on the front of the micro hi-fi system at a 60° angle so
that the micro hi-fi system receives the transmitted information.
•
The remote control has a range of 8 meters.
•
Make sure that there are no obstacles between the remote control and the infrared sensor and that
no sunlight or other light source is refl ected on them.

Do not use this device:
1. If the power cord is damaged,

Connect the power cable to an easily accessible
mains socket.
•
Make sure that the power cord cannot be
crushed or pinched, especially around the plug,
power point, and the connection point to the
device.

The device is only designed to be used indoors.
•
Make sure that the device is placed on a fl at,
stable surface (particularly avoiding placing it on
fabric or carpet).
•
Do not place this device near to any heat
sources, such as radiators, hot air vents or
ovens, or similar appliances (especially amps)
that produce heat.
•
Do not expose the device to direct sunlight or
dust.
•
Do not use this device near water or sources of
damp/humidity, such as baths, washbasins, sinks or
swimming pools, or in damp basements or any other
damp location.
•
Do not place naked fl ames (for example, lit
candles) on top of or near the device.
•
Do not spill or splash liquid on the device, and
do not place any objects containing liquid (e.g.
a vase) on top of the device.
•
You should leave a space of at least 10 cm around
the device to ensure adequate ventilation.
•
Do not place this device in a tight space such as a
bookcase, behind curtains, etc.
