Operation
Starting the Test
Use of this equipment in a manner not specified by the manufacturer
may impair the protections provided by the equipment.
1.
In the software, program a temperature profile for each test (see page 14).
2.
Assemble the test cell (see page 19), load it into the heating jacket and
make all the necessary connections (see page 29).
3.
Pressurize the cell as described in the UCA instruction manual.
4. Click the “Start Test” button.

After clicking the “Start Test” button, make any changes to the test
information in the information screen. Refer to page 14 for more
information about the entering test information.
Click “OK” to continue and start the test.
6. Turn the “Heat” Switch on.
7.
When the cement reaches the gel strength specified in the “Strength #5”
field on the Setup screen (see page 8), the software will automatically
stop the test and turn on the alarm.
To stop the alarm on a High Pressure SGSM (#120-58), click the OK
button on the alarm message in the software. The Low Pressure SGSM
(#120-53) do not have a Sonalert.
The alarm will not turn on until the SGSM has finished the current
measurement cycle.
