6.  To fill the oil reservoir, remove the right-hand side panel and remove the 

oil reservoir cap. Pour approximately four liters (or until full) of mineral oil 

(#120-001) into the reservoir. Replace the cap. Make sure the seal is air 

tight. Use the sight glass on the front to check the oil level.

7. 

 Turn the “Main Power” switch On.

8. 

 Calibrate the potentiometer before connecting the Consistometer to a 

computer. See page 51.
