1. 

Remove the O-Ring (5) from counter-bore in Cover (17) and Discard O-Ring. 

 
2. 

Remove two Thrust Washers (10) and Thrust Bearing (9) from Cover (17). 

 
3. 

Remove Thrust Washer (8) from the Cover (17). 

 
4. 

Remove Thrust Washer (19) from counter-bore in Cover (17). 

 

NOTE:

 

For 

SAE “C” cover skip steps 5 and 6. 

 
5. 

Remove Adaptor Mount (29) from Cover (17). 

 
6. 

Remove O-Ring (28) from pilot on Adaptor Mount (29) and discard it. 

 
 

This concludes the Cover Disassembly.
