designed to install freeze plugs on liquid-cooled gas and
diesel engines.

OPERATION
WARNING
:
ALLOW THE ENGINE TO COOL PRIOR
TO PERFORMING ENGINE SERVICE.
1. Select the appropriate adapter for the freeze plug.
NOTE:
Pressure should be applied to the outer edges of
the freeze plug during installation.
2. Slide the retaining ring over the back end of the chosen
driver and hold the adapter onto the ball end. Tighten
the adapter into place at the desired angle.
3. Apply a sealant to the edges of the freeze plug.
NOTE:
Refer to the manufacturer’s maintenance manual
for vehicle specific information.
4. With the freeze plug in place on the engine block, place
the adapter over the plug. Lightly hammer the back end
of the driver until the freeze plug is fully inserted.
NOTE:
The top of the freeze plug should be situated just
below the surface of the engine block. The freeze plug
should be level across.
