SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

AND WARNINGS

1.  The recirculating pump is designed for non-corrosive, water-

based cleaning agents. DO NOT use corrosive, flammable or

solvent-based cleaning agents as the pump will malfunction

and may catch fire.

2.  Do Not reuse cleaning solution. Change fluid frequently.
3.  Clean the parts washer after each use; flammable and

combustible residues from parts and tools may contaminate

cleaning solution.

4.  Do Not leave parts washer unattended while the pump is

plugged-in and operating; the pump may become clogged

and overheat presenting a risk of fire.

5.  Always wear chemical resistant gloves, ANSI approved

eye protection, and respiratory protection while using parts

washer. Even water-based cleaning agents, when mishandled,

can present health risk or cause injury.

6.  Always operate parts washer in an illuminated, well-ventilated

indoor environment.

OPERATION

1.

Set a standard 5-gallon bucket onto a clean, protected work

surface capable of supporting the bucket and washer at

capacity.

2.  Place the pump in the

bottom of the bucket

with the intake facing

the center, and cord

closest to the wall of

the bucket. Press the

top of the pump to

establish suction.

3.  Fill the bucket with the

desired amount of cleaning

solution; the pump must be

completely submerged in

order to operate.

4.  Place the washing basin onto

the top of the bucket, so that

the power cord and hose

feed through the slotted point

on the basin. If the hose is

pinched, the parts washer will

not operate.

5.  Set the cleaning brush into the basin.
6.  Plug the pump into a

grounded, GFCI protected

outlet. Cleaning solution will

flow through the brush.

7.  After one hour of use, inspect the pump to ensure the pump

is not clogged. Replace the used cleaning solution with new

cleaning solution.

8.  When finished, place the brush into the basin, and unplug

the pump. Clean the pump, washer and hose after use.

Dispose of used cleaning solution in accordance with

Federal/State/Local laws.

MAINTENANCE

After each use, check the pump intake. If the intake becomes

dirty and clogged, performance will diminish and may cause

malfunction. To clean the pump, you can remove the casing

over the intake. Ensure all parts are securely attached before

attempting to operate.

STORAGE

Store the portable parts washer in an upright position and in

a clean, dry area. Do not store near flammable items or open

flames.

DISPOSAL

At the end of the useful life of the Portable Bucket-Top Parts

Washer, dispose of the components according to all Federal/

State/Local laws.
