In active mode, it is red; in standby mode, it turns green. 
When switched off, the lamp will blink green when charging the battery and will remain 
constant once the charging has finished. 

 

Note 

Charge the battery with the device switched off. This will shorten the charging time 
and extend the life of the battery.
