CLEANING THE "GOLDEN FINGER"
Whenever inserting an add-on card to the motherboard, make
sure that there is no dirt on the "golden finger" of the add-on card. If not,
the contact between the "golden finger" and the slot may be poor and thus
the add-on card may not work properly. Use a pencil eraser to clean the
"golden finger" if dirt is found.
CLEANING THE MOTHERBOARD
The computer system should be kept clean. Dust and dirt is
harmful to electronic devices. To prevent dust from accumulating on the
mother-board, installing all mounting plates on the rear of the case.
Regularly examine your system, and if necessary, vacuum the interior of
the system with a miniature vacuum.
