4.6 Troubleshooting
Carefully read the manual, and in particular safety information, before proceeding with the
resolution of common faults.
Problems
Possible causes Possible solutions
No light emission from the units
Fault on the supply line Access the connection box and disconnect the cable that supply
the unit: using suitable tools, check the proper functioning of the
supply line.
ATTENTION: do not perform maintenance activities with
powered devices.
If the detected values do not comply, the connection cable may
be damaged. If necessary, replace it.
If the values are correct, there may be a fault in the wiring inside
the unit.
If after trying the proposed solutions the problem persists, contact OCEM technical support.
No light emission from a single unit
Fault on the connection cable between
transformer and unit
Access the connection box and disconnect the cable that supply
the unit: using suitable tools, check the proper functioning of the
connection line between transformer and unit.
If the detected values do not comply, the connection cable may
be damaged. If necessary, replace it.
If the values are correct, there may be a fault in the wiring inside
the unit.
Fault in the internal wiring of the unit Disconnect the supply cable of the unit.
ATTENTION: do not perform maintenance activities with
powered devices.
Remove the external cover of the fixture.
Check all the connections and verify that there are no terminals
or connectors loosened.
Check the integrity of the cables and of the connections using
a multimeter: measure the continuity of each connection cable.
If problems in connections are identified, replace the damaged
parts with certified spare parts.
If the problem persists, it may be necessary to replace the
damaged lamps.
