When approaching anchoring or docking destination:
Best practice is to secure the dinghy alongside Regal II near the stern or detach and send
it ahead with a crew member. DO NOT TOW INTO A HARBOR OR ANCHORAGE
unless you want to provide the entertainment highlight of the day to all onlookers!
Stop Regal II and pull the dinghy by hand alongside with adequate fenders between
Regal II and dinghy.
Untie and send a crew member with the dinghy to the dock or:
Secure tow line.
Secure the dinghy bow line to a forward cleat on Leeway and the stern line to Regal II’s
stern on the side away opposite your choice of docking side.
Proceed to anchor or dock with dinghy secured.
22. STEREO, CD CHANGER, TV /VCR, WASHER/DRYER
Stereo
Regal II has a stereo receiver in the salon below the TV. Its use is like those in your home. There is a
surround sound system in the salon, much like those found in your homes. The fly bridge has an
AM/FM/CD located behind the cabinet door under the instrument panel on the starboard side of the
boat. Four speakers are located on the fly bridge for use with this equipment.
TV/VCR
Reception in the islands is very limited due to mountains.
For these reasons, the boat has been equipped
with a new satellite TV with a sport broadcast option.
The TV in the main cabin also has a VCR player
and a CD player. A good number of marina stores rent and sell videos.
Washer/Dryer
Instructions for using the washer/dryer are in the Regal II manual box. Running the
washer/dryer requires running the generator. Water valves for the washer/dryer are in the
engine room directly behind the washer/dryer. Water valves are normally kept in OFF
position and need to be opened before using the washer/dryer. Above the valves is the
dryer lint filter. Clean the lint filter after every load. It is quite small and fills up quickly.
