SCANclient
Installation
When you launch the installation of Océ Scanner Agent, in the
‘Select the type of setup you prefer’ window, you have to select ‘Install
SCANclient only’.
Start
You can either start the SCANclient:
■
automatically if you chose during installation ‘Install SCANclient only’. The
SCANclient is started and runs every time the computer is booted.
■
manually if you chose during installation ‘Install Océ Scanner Agent and
SCANserver’ and you want also SCANclient to run on the same computer.
In this case, from the Windows ‘Start’ menu, select ‘Programs/Océ Scanner
Agent/SCANclient’.

Double-click the SCANclient icon on the system tray to launch the
SCANclient dialog:

Click ‘Settings’. The Settings window is displayed:

Define the settings:
■
Browse to find the server (computer ID on the network).
■
Select the connection port.
■
Target folder: browse to the folder on your client machine in which the
scanned jobs are received from the SCANserver.
■
Password: You can protect a client target folder from unauthorized storage
data (see ‘Authentication settings’ on page 27).
