3 Routing the Scanner Cable
Note: The following tools are required when routing the scanner cable:
1.The tool for the positioning of the mirror
2.The pulley sleeve
Proceed as follows:
1 Place the steel ball into the pulley hole (1). Wind the cable 3.5 times toward the
inside and 6 times toward the outside (both front and rear).

Secure the cable, using the pulley sleeve.

Locate the tool for the positioning of the mirror (2).

Thread the cable as shown (3),(4),(5),(6).
5 Loosen and, then, tighten the set screw (7) of the drive pulley, so that the ten-
sion of the scanner cables is equalised.

Fix the mirror support No. 1, and refit the cable clamps (8).

Adjust the cable pulley, until the spring length is 32 ±1 mm (9).
Prepare the tool for
the positioning of
the mirror.
Loosen the set screws,
so that the pulley is free
to rotate.

Place the steel ball into the
pulley hole. Wind the cable 3.5
times toward the inside
and 6 times toward
the outside.
Then, snap on
the pulley
sleeve.
