The new dustbag is attached to the holder.
Be careful not to trap or puncture the dustbag when closing the lid to the dust compartment
IMPORTANT!
The vacuum cleaner may NEVER be used without a dustbag. The dust compartment lid cannot be
closed if there is no dustbag in the compartment. Do not apply excessive force attempting to close
the lid.
Replacing the filters
The motor filter
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a motor filter located in a holder in the dust compartment. This
motor filter should be replaced every time you start a new pack of dustbags (or approximately every 6
months).
The motor filter is replaced by taking out the holder from the dust compartment and carefully loosening
the filter from the holder. Then insert a new filter and place the holder back in the dust compartment.
IMPORTANT!
The vacuum cleaner may NEVER be used without a motor filter
HEPA exhaust filter
The vacuum cleaner is equipped with a HEPA exhaust filter which is placed in a compartment just in
front of the suction power regulator. This HEPA filter should be replaced every time you start a new pack
of dustbags (or approximately every 6 months).
To remove the HEPA filter, open the lid to the compartment by pressing the release button on the front
of the compartment lid (see illustration).
Replace the HEPA filter and re-attach the lid.
IMPORTANT!
The vacuum cleaner may NEVER be used without a HEPA exhaust filter.
Cleaning the vacuum cleaner itself
The vacuum cleaner and the accessories can be wiped with a damp cloth. Remember to remove the
plug from the power socket while the vacuum cleaner is cleaned.
