If you want to use the larger juicer cone, first place the smaller juicer cone on
the motor shaft sleeve and then place the larger juicer cone on top of it. Make
sure it clicks together correctly.
Plug the appliance in. Place a glass under the container’s spout and push the
spout down.
Cut the citrus fruits into halves down the middle. Place one fruit half against
the juicer cone. Lower the juicer arm and press down. When the fruit is pressed
against the cone, the motor starts and the juicer cone squeezes the juice out of
the fruit and into the glass. If you want to change the glass during juicing, push
the spout up. The juice will remain in the container. You can fill the container
with juice up to the MAX mark. However, do not forget to push the spout down
again so that it does not overflow.
If the citrus juicer makes a loud noise during use, it may be a sign that the
motor is being overloaded. This may occur if the fruit is pressed too hard
against the juicer cone.
When the juicer arm is lifted, the citrus juicer stops automatically. The appliance
should not be used for more than 3 minutes at a time. After that do not use the
appliance for 10 minutes.
After use, unplug the appliance. Lift off the juicer cone, filter and container for
cleaning.
Overheating
The appliance is equipped with a thermostat that safeguards the service life
of the appliance and is activated if the motor becomes overloaded. If the
thermostat is activated, turn off the appliance and unplug it. Wait 30 minutes
before restarting the appliance.
Cleaning and maintenance
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning. The juicer cones, filter, container
and cap are dishwasher-proof. The juicer lid should be washed by hand.
Never immerse the motor unit and cord in water or other liquids. Wipe them
with a damp cloth and then dry with a dry cloth. Do not use cleaning agents
that may damage the casing.
Replace all parts on the motor unit before putting the appliance away.
Disposal of the appliance
Legislation requires that all electrical and electronic equipment shall be
collected for reuse and recycling. Electrical and electronic equipment
marked with the symbol indicating separate collection of such
equipment must be returned to a municipal waste collection point.
