OBH Nordica toaster
Before use
Before the toaster is used for the first time, read through the instruction manual carefully and
save it for future use.
Use
Place your toaster on a dry level surface. Be sure bread carriage lever is in up position and
connect the appliance. The variable selector (1-6) makes it easy to set the desired position.
Insert slices of bread and press the bread carriage lever down until it locks into position. The
metal grids will automatically adjust to the size of the bread. The heatingelements activates
automatically.
(Note! The Bread carriage lever can not be locked if the appliance is not
connected to the outlet). When the toasting cycle is completed, the toast is automatically
ejected up and the heatingelements are turned off. If you like to interrupt the toasting, press
the stop button and the bread lever will automatically eject.
WARNING: Bread may burn !!
Therefore only use the toaster under supervision, and do not use it near or under curtains
and other combustible material.
”Safety Touch”
The toaster is equipped with heat insulated longsides which is an important argument for
metal toasters that reaches very high temperatures. The center of the longsides reaches
max +60 (measured after 5 toasting cycles in a row). Note that the upperside, where the heat
escapes still is very hot – avoid to touch this area.
Thick & Thin
The metal grids are automatically adjusted to the size of the bread so that the bread slices
gets evenly toasted.
Crumb tray
The extensible crumb tray makes it easy to remove crumbs from the toaster.
If bread get stuck in the toaster, disconnect the appliance and let the toaster cool. Turn the
toaster upside down and carefully shake it to get the bread out. It this doesn´t help you can
try to get the bread out by using some kind of tool. Never use metal objects for this purpose
and don´t touch the heatingelements since this can damaged the toaster, damage caused
by carelessness is not covered by the warranty.
NB! The crumb tray must always be positioned in the toaster during use.
High rise
This function makes it easier to grab the bread from the toaster when it´s ready. Push the
lever upwards when the lever has ejected and the bread is toasted.
