Since the potatoes have an irregular surface there will be some ”eyes” left after
peeling. These are easily removed with a knife or you can use the cutter dish
manually to remove them.
If you are still not satisfied with the peeling, the reason may be:
• The potatoes are placed to closely.
• You have more than one layer of potatoes in the bowl.
• The potatoes are very big.
• The potatoes are very irregular in size.
• You have peeled too short time.
Unplug the appliance when the potatoes are peeled. Lift the bowl to the sink, be
careful not to spill water through the hole in the middle. Take off the lid and pour
the potatoes into the sink and rinse them under water.
Use of salad spinner
Rinse the salad under cold water and place it in the spinner. Take out the cutter
dish from the bowl and place the spinner in the bowl. The spinner should be filled
evenly but not too much (ca ½ lettuce at one time). Put on the lid and turn it in
arrow direction to lock it.
Plug the appliance and press the switch. When you press the switch the appliance
will start immediately. After 20-30 seconds the salad will be spinned and still
crispy. Take out the spinner, the water is saved in the bowl and can easily be
poured out in the sink.
If the salad is not dried enough you can just spin it some more after stirring the
salad a bit.
If you wish to spin whole lettuce leafs, you should only fill the spinner by half.
Cleaning and maintenance
Bowl, lid and cutting dish should be washed in water and mild detergent or in the
dishwashers upper basket. The salad spinner cannot be washed in the dishwasher
though it might get warped. The motor unit can be dried with a damp cloth.
Never use abrasive detergents that may damage the cover.
NOTE! The motor unit can never be rinsed under water or immersed in water or
any other liquids.
