Before use
The temperature unit is from the factory set to be shown in Celsius (°C). If you
want to change to Fahrenheit, remove the battery cover on the display unit and
push the button in the battery compartment to °F.
Insertion of battery
Remove the battery cover at the display unit and insert one 1.5V AAA battery
in the battery compartment. Make sure that the + and the – poles of the
battery are positioned correctly.
Balloon whisk with measurement of temperature
Press the on/off button at the upper part of the whisk until the display goes on.
The actual temperature is displayed.
Lower the whisk into the bowl. Be careful not to press the whisk, as the
temperature needle may scratch the bowl. After a few seconds you can read
the temperature on the display.
Kitchen thermometer
Remove the whisk by pushing the small button on the display unit backwards
and then turn the balloon whisk clockwise. Lower, or insert the temperature
needle into the object where you want to measure the temperature. After a
few seconds you can read the temperature on the display. Please note that the
kitchen thermometer cannot be used in an oven, as the display unit does not
withstand high temperatures.
