• Make sure that the straighteners are out of the reach of children. The
straighteners reach very high temperatures when in use, and therefore take
a long time to cool down.
• The straighteners and cord must not be immersed in water or other liquids
and must not come into direct contact with water.
• Make sure that water does not get into the casing!
• Wipe the straighteners’ casing and plates with a damp cloth. Wipe with a dry
cloth.
• The cord must not be wrapped around the straighteners.
• Make sure that the straighteners have cooled completely and are dry before
putting them away.
• Keep the straighteners in a safe, dry location out of the reach of children
after use.
Do not wrap the cord around the straighteners, as this may cause abnormal
strain, with a risk of the cord breaking. It is best to store the straighteners in
the case provided.
The tongs have a practical lock function which makes them easier to
carry. To activate the lock function, press the round button (the locked padlock
symbol) located between the handles while pressing the tongs together. To
unlock, press the tongs together and press the button with the open padlock
symbol.
Disposal of the appliance
Legislation requires that all electrical and electronic equipment must be
collected for reuse and recycling. Electrical and electronic equipment
marked with the symbol indicating separate collection of such
equipment must be returned to a municipal waste collection point.
